About the Role

As a Commercial Optimization Co-op Student, you’ll support day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy across AltaGas’ Midstream platform. Working with all other front-office teams, Commercial Optimization focuses on creating value through collaboration, partnership, and rigorous analysis. This role is ideal for students who enjoy solving complex problems, working in a dynamic environment, and applying their skills to real-world business challenges.

What You’ll Do

- Support large-scale modelling efforts for AltaGas’ LPG Exports, Supply, and Marketing businesses
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute various daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Contribute to building new analytical methods and associated processes
- Assist other front-office & planning teams as necessary

What You’ll Bring:

- Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on efficiency, practical problem-solving, and delivering effective solutions
- A strong desire to learn, with the confidence to ask thoughtful questions and build a deeper understanding of the business
