HSEQ CL Lead

DP World Logistics are currently seeking a skilled HSEQ Lead - North (Contract Logistics) responsible for the deployment, verification, and implementation of regional, global, and group standards related to Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ). This role focuses on monitoring and improving performance by analysing key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting site operations, and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

This is a high-impact, multi-site role where you’ll work closely with site and cluster leadership teams to embed best-in-class HSEQ standards and culture, drive continuous improvement and ensure our operations consistently meet regulatory, customer and DP World requirements.

About the role

- Lead the deployment and verification of DP World HSEQ standards, policies and processes across multiple sites.
- Drive a proactive safety culture , supporting the Safe Together programme and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide expert HSEQ guidance across existing operations and new site launches .
- Monitor HSEQ KPIs, audits, incidents and performance trends, identifying opportunities to reduce risk and improve operational performance.
- Lead and support incident investigations , ensuring appropriate classification, reporting, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Oversee Integrated Management Systems and support the maintenance of relevant ISO and industry certifications , including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001.
- Ensure sites remain compliant with legal, regulatory, customer and DP World requirements .
- Support the delivery of environmental and sustainability objectives , including carbon reduction, waste minimisation and environmental performance.
- Lead, mentor and develop site-level HSEQ teams, building capability and creating a consistent approach across the cluster.
- Work collaboratively with operations, customers, leadership teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver sustainable improvements.
- Provide training, coaching and practical support to embed HSEQ standards across the cluster.

Your Key Skills:

- We’re looking for an experienced HSEQ professional who can operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels .
- A recognised professional HSEQ/Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma / CIOSH)
- Demonstrable experience in delivering HSEQ strategy across multiple sites within a logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, heavy plant or similar operational environment.
- Experience leading HSEQ teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience implementing management systems, integrating new sites and maintaining certifications .
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, ISO standards and certification processes.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
- A proactive, organised and detail-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Flexibility to travel 30–50% across the region including Europe .
