This position will report to our partner Tallahassee Memorial Behavioral Healthcare Center.

Overview:

The RN/Associate Director of Nursing maintains systems to ensure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and State of Florida licensure standards. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (ICARE values). Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. Promotes a consistent, consolidated direction for nursing care provision throughout nursing service in accordance with nursing services philosophy and the hospitals and BHC services missions. Manages departmental budgetary responsibilities. Responsible for all BHC nursing and technician staff functions. Collects, analyzes, and reports quality data. Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in nursing from a program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

- Four (4) years of progressively responsible nursing administration experience.

Licensure or Certification:

- Licensure as an RN in accordance with Florida Statute (F.S.). Title XXII (Regulation on Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing). Part I (Nurse Practice Act). [Includes multistate compact licensure]

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from CCNE- or ACEN- accredited program preferred.

- Must obtain and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
