About the Internship
Wells Insurance is seeking a motivated and curious Summer Intern to gain practical experience within an independent insurance agency. This paid internship offers exposure to multiple business lines and core operational functions, providing a holistic introduction to the insurance and professional services industry.
The intern will rotate through departments, shadow experienced professionals, and assist with meaningful projects that support our organization and clients.

Responsibilities
- Shadow team members across departments to learn workflows and best practices
- Assist with special projects and daily administrative tasks
- Support sales, service, and marketing activities
- Gain exposure to insurance risk placement and claims handling
- Participate in basic data analysis and reporting
- Observe internal business operations and professional communications
- Actively engage, ask questions, and contribute ideas

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed coursework in business, risk management, finance, communications, analytics, or a related field
- Strong interest in learning about insurance, business operations, and professional services
- Reliable, organized, and detail oriented
- Professional demeanor and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must
