Planning Analyst

We are looking for a Planning Analyst to join our M&S site in Bradford . Reporting to the Senior Planning Analyst, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our operation has the right resources, stock flow and transport plans in place to deliver exceptional service. Working closely with operational teams, customers and supply chain partners, you'll analyse data, identify trends and provide accurate planning information that supports effective decision-making across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data and making a tangible impact within a large-scale logistics environment.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Wednesday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00 and Saturday & Sunday, 04:00 to 12:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

- Support operational resource planning, ensuring labour is allocated effectively to meet workload demands and service requirements

- Coordinate inbound stock planning, working closely with customers and supply chain partners to ensure stock arrives in line with operational priorities

- Manage outbound planning activities, ensuring store volumes are allocated efficiently and dispatched in accordance with transport schedules

- Analyse operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, highlight opportunities and support business decisions

- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information to support operational success

What you need to succeed at GXO:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insight into action

- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel; experience with WMS systems would be advantageous

- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills with strong attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines

- Confident communicator who can build effective relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels
