Shipping Assistant

## Position Summary

Prepares, ships, and receives Customer product ensuring proper documentation. May perform the duties of Material Handler regarding the shipment documents.  Ability to train and substitute for supervisor if she/he is not present.

## Duties

- To load and unload vehicles and perform general movement of goods in factory.
- To identify and segregate products always as per QA procedures and SOP requirement.
- To ensure that documents receipt for each consignment is adequate and accurate.
- To report any non-conformance found on products upon receipt, prior shipment and post-irradiation to immediate superior and quarantine as per SOP.
- To assist in the organization of the warehouse to maximize the useable space and ensure all batches to be processed or dispatched can be clearly identified.
- To perform any reasonable request by superior in respect of the efficient running of the site.
- Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks to ensure Customer requirements for processing and delivery are completed timely.
- Contributes to maintaining a safe and clean working environment by performing routine area housekeeping and reporting any unsafe conditions to facility management.
- Protects confidential information by properly storing, retrieving and disseminating such information only to those authorized.
- To perform forklift basic inspection at daily basis as to ensure forklift in tip-top condition.
- Exhibits a commitment to the AST shared values of Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement through ensuring defect-free workmanship, assisting others to meet the Customer’s needs, searching for efficient and effective ways to reduce waste, being active and accountable for Customer satisfaction, and satisfying the Customer’s needs with a sense of urgency

- Experience in Forklift handling – 1 years
