Senior Digital Delivery Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Modelling and Detailing

·         Autodesk, Revit, Civil 3D and Bentley implementation for team

·         Develop Autodesk templates/ Libraries and tools to maintain standards

·         Programming within Autodesk (Visual Coding/Automation)

·         Quality audit on outgoing drawings

·         Standardisation of all drawings on project

·         Visualization of 3D models of projects for presentations

·         BIM implementation

·         Handling all Autodesk troubleshooting and setting up of interfaces in respective department

·         Participating in office technical discussions and project delivery meetings

·         Mentor, train and provide technical support to junior staff

·         Conducting conceptual and detailed design and modelling to prepare technical drawings and documentation

·         Provide practical and economical solutions to project deliverables

·         Applying a deeper understanding of modelling principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems

·         Maintain a high level of Modelling expertise and engineering knowledge

·         Undertake supervisor role and lead on projects

·         Ensure drawings and documentation are to the highest quality

·         Maintain internal and external client satisfaction

·         Strictly adhere to SMEC’s Management System (MS), quality standards and OHS procedures

·         Introduce Graduate Engineers to in-house standards and the practical application of tasks and construction techniques

·         Assist Project Managers with site queries and reporting solutions
