Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- Internal - Previous experience in a Plating role.
- External - Minimum (2) years’ experience in role using basic math skills.
- Should have a basic knowledge of chemistry
- Must have meticulous recordkeeping skills
- Have a complete and thorough knowledge in the operation of any electroplating line in the department
- Know and understand shutdown procedures for electroplate operations
- Know and understand emergency shutdown procedures, especially if a non-scheduled power outage occurs
- Must be able to read charts and graphs and follow instructions closely
- Must have working knowledge of measuring equipment and accurately weigh and mix chemicals per instructions
- Must be able to operate Forklift
- Must be able to read, write and do simple math
- Must have mechanical aptitude and ability
