Job Summary

Circle the City is a rapidly growing non-profit dedicated to providing high quality, holistic healthcare to people experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County. Circle the City is designated by the US Department of Health and Human Services as a Federally Qualified Health Center. The clinic, located in Central Phoenix, provides comprehensive primary care alongside fully integrated behavioral health and case management services to more than 3,000 individuals experiencing homelessness each year.

The Human Resources Coordinator supports and coordinates key HR operational processes, with a focus on employee onboarding and offboarding, HRIS administration, and credentialing. This position helps manage workflows, maintains accurate and compliant records, and supports timely processing across the employment lifecycle, while serving as a resource to employees and partnering closely with the HR team. Must exercise good judgment and display a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Welcomes guests and visitors at the corporate suite entrance in a professional and courteous manner.

· Administers and maintains the HRIS (Paycom), including data entry, , data integrity, and reporting.; May identify and suggest process improvements to HR leadership.

· Complete and process the re-credentialing records for OLCP and OCS credentialed employees in MedTrainer; apply credentialing requirements, proactively monitors expirations, help resolve discrepancies, and ensures documents remain current and compliant.

· Supports the onboarding process to include facilitating new hire orientation, managing meeting agenda, sending meeting invitations, ordering lunches, collecting and entering I-9 documentation to ensure consistent, compliant employee experiences.

· Assists with pre-employment screening and verifications, including I-9 documentation and federal compliance, pre-employment and ongoing background and reference checks, employment verifications for current and former employees.

· Assists with periodic audits of HR records and program documentation and recurring compliance reports to maintain compliance with Circle the City standards and applicable regulations.

· Maintains organized, confidential personnel, credentialing, and employee health records in accordance with Circle the City record-keeping standards in electronic formats.

· Supports communication of HR policies and initiatives.

· Supports special HR projects as needed.

· Process incoming mail, outgoing certified mail and incoming packages for the Administration building.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

· High School diploma or GED required.

· Degree in Human Resources related field of study is preferred,

Experience:

· Minimum two years of Human Resources experience required, preferably including onboarding or HRIS.

· Experience in a health care setting preferred.

· Ability to produce work accurately and timely.

· Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

· Must be able to successfully multi-task.

· Must be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Proven ability to engage critical thinking skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Familiarity with Paycom or another HRIS platform a plus.

· Ability to organize and prioritize work

· Ability to work outside regular work hours as required

· Bi-lingual a plus.
