Join us as a Client Management Lead
· In this Director level role, you’ll build influential client relationships by acting as the primary customer contact for our Institutional Banking customers in Luxembourg
· You’ll take ownership of client opportunities by leading transaction origination and delivering customer-orientated outcomes, both across individual transactions and the broader relationship
· You’ll also lead end-to-end strategic relationships, and will expand your impact by providing customer-focused solutions across the franchise product suite, working with product and subject matter experts to strengthen client relationships
What you'll do
As a Client Management Lead, you'll define and agree on a commercial strategy for the business area in conjunction with the Business Head, including preferred customer relationships. You'll maintain a portfolio of senior client relationships and lead commercial thinking with those chosen customers, positioning Royal Bank of Scotland International (RBSI) as the first point of call for defined capabilities in line with bank strategy and risk appetite.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll also ensure the wider team are meeting clients' needs, while driving safe and sustainable portfolio growth and proactive risk management.
In addition, you’ll be:
· Leading the delivery of transaction origination and customer-orientated outcomes, aligned with business strategy or market conditions
· Leading internal stakeholder engagement to deliver customer sales and an excellent customer experience through close liaison with service providers and product specialists
· Driving business engagement with external stakeholders to maintain a positive RBSI profile within the chosen markets
· Positioning yourself as an industry leader by participating in industry events, raising the business profile, and generating new business
· Developing and maintaining an effective strategic network across leadership teams and other internal stakeholders
· Collaborating effectively with all process stakeholders
· Driving an effective operating rhythm and workflow within the business, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with strong strategic capability and origination experience, as well as a proven track record of strategic thinking and building business intelligence through collaborative engagement with leaders and teams across the bank. You must also bring detailed knowledge of the external marketplace, alternative providers, and other sources of financial support available to clients, alongside a strong understanding of the macroeconomic and financial outlook and sector-by-sector activity.
In addition, you’ll need:
· The ability to influence, negotiate, and network effectively to achieve positive outcomes for clients and the business
· Strong negotiation, organisational, and planning skills
· The ability to manage both external regulatory and internal stakeholders
· A well-established network across the bank to enable customer delivery in line with bank appetite and capability
· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external professional advisers
· A collaborative approach and the ability to contribute strongly to the regional and national leadership teams
