Intermedia Interior Decorator (Full-Time)

Job Duties:
- Develop preliminary innovative design concept images and mood boards, including electrical and partition layouts, which are practical, aesthetic, creative, and conducive to intended purposes and function as well as reflective of clients’ needs within the project budget;
- Use auto computer-aided design (AutoCAD) software to prepare, develop, and produce project drawing sets like surveys, conceptual drawings/sketches, floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, electrical plans, reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, framing plans, sections, millwork drawings and detail drawings, and make sure these drawings comply with the U.S. building codes and ADA compliance;
- Prepares, develops and produces 3D models and renderings, and apply materials and finishes to these 3D models, such as textures, colors, and patterns, to create a realistic representation of the final design, and set up lighting and camera angles to create realistic and compelling visual renderings that accurately depict the design intent;
- Source all FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) including furniture, window treatments, drapery, fabrics, wall coverings, wall treatments, lighting, carpeting, regular painting, decorative painting, decorative finishes, decorative art, and accessories to meet client's needs;
- Prepare, develop and produce project documentation including material schedules, finish schedules, fixture schedules, hardware schedules and appliance & equipment schedules, and Respond to RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Reviews and comments on bid documents, consultant drawings, shop drawings and finish samples in an accurate and efficient manner;
- Collaborate with architects, builders, and other construction professionals to ensure that the design is executed correctly and on schedule; communicate the design plans and specifications to the relevant construction professionals and ensure that they understand the design intent; and conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of the construction and to ensure that the design is being implemented as intended.

Requirements:
- The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent, plus at least 24 months of work experience in the same or similar position of interior designer with interior design or architectural design firms.
