Project Superintendent

Urban Infraconstruction is seeking a  Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations of assigned construction projects. This position will lead field crews, subcontractors, and vendors while coordinating closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee daily field operations from project start through completion.

- Supervise foremen, operators, laborers, subcontractors, and other field personnel.

- Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.

- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project schedules.

- Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

- Conduct daily pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.

- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across the project.

- Monitor manpower, equipment, materials, and production to maintain project efficiency.

- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure proper execution of work.

- Assist with resolving field conflicts, RFIs, and constructability issues.

- Support project closeout activities and ensure work is completed according to contract requirements.

- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to field personnel.

Requirements

- 5+ years of construction field experience, preferably in heavy civil.

- Previous experience as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field leadership role.

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules.

- Experience managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and multiple field activities.

- Ability to identify problems in the field and develop practical solutions.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
