Reporting to the Manager, Project Engineering Electrical, the Intermediate Electrical Designer is responsible for developing electrical design solutions for custom UV disinfection equipment and systems. This role is critical to ensuring our designs meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements while supporting project execution across multiple teams.

This position is part of the Project Engineering Electrical department located in London, Ontario and will be hybrid, 3 days Onsite and 2 Remote

In this role, a typical day will look like:

- Developing electrical design solutions for custom UV disinfection equipment and systems.
- Creating and maintaining electrical schematics, panel drawings, P&IDs, bills of materials, and supporting documentation.
- Reviewing project specifications and ensuring designs meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Supporting project execution through collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Engineering teams.
- Participating in design reviews, commissioning support, and resolution of technical issues.
- Providing technical guidance to junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, industrial controls, panel design, or related engineering environment.
- Proficiency in electrical schematics, industrial control systems, and AutoCAD software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

The compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 CAD per year.
