What this job involves:

As a Housekeeper at Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw, GA, you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You'll maintain the high standards that make our mall a premier destination by sanitizing restrooms, cleaning public areas, keeping the food court spotless, and responding promptly to cleaning requests throughout the property. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety protocols as you use cleaning chemicals and equipment to keep Town Center at Cobb looking its best

Expected Schedule: 40 hours per week across 5 days, Saturday and Sunday availability is required

What your day-to-day will look like:

- Clean and sanitize public areas including entrances, corridors, restrooms, elevators, escalators, and seating areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the mall to maintain a professional appearance
- Empty trash bins, clean waste disposal areas, and ensure proper waste segregation
- Maintain cleanliness in food court areas including tables, floors, and condiment stations
- Replenish restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
- Wipe down glass doors, display windows, and signage as needed
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests, spills, or accidents
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property to your supervisor immediately

Required qualifications:

- Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience, preferably in malls or public facilities
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including safe handling practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in high-traffic retail or commercial environments
