Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking students to participate in our internship program.
- This position requires the ability to provide expert and creative solutions to user problems to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity
- Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions received via telephone calls, customer generated tickets or emails, and provide support on electronic services, in accordance with current standards
- The position provides support for software as described in triage documentation and has proficient knowledge of Windows11, and Office 365
- The position requires close coordination with all IT infrastructure and support teams
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize IT software programs
- Must have strong customer service and problem solving skills; coursework or experience in PC hardware functionality, desktop imaging , network monitoring tools, Microsoft Office project support preferred
- Proficient knowledge of Windows11, and Office 365
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills; be able to work independently and as a team
Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportation
Education Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Students should be a rising junior and have an anticipated graduation date 2028 or later.

Hourly Rate:
$22.0 - $28.00
The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
