What We Offer

The CM Systems Specialist will be responsible for the system that monitors maintenance, capital, and TAR contractors’ activities at the Baytown site. The system verifies T&M labor, equipment, and materials invoices. It is an automated process for invoice approval and is used to allocate hours, equipment, and materials to various SAP work orders. They will also develop, and issue reports used by the various site organizations to manage contractor’s cost.

Major Responsibilities

- Administration, maintenance, and development of the AES system utilized by contractor’s management organization to manage the work of maintenance, capital, and TAR contractors labor, equipment, and material allocations for invoicing.

- Maintaining and verifying required data for interface between AES and SAP.

- Developing and conducting necessary training for system end users (procurement, site contractors, approvers, auditors, project controls, etc.).

- Generate reports.

- Identifying system needs, working with development team, and testing enhancements/upgrades to AES to increase efficiency and system security.

- Conduct weekly system audits and monthly invoice audits of contractor users and resolve disputed issues (i.e., time, rates, double billing, NLD’s, WTL’s, runner status etc.) based on contracts in place.

- Collaborate with global colleagues in Germany on new AES developments.

What You Offer

Basic Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 7 years of related experience OR Associates degree and at least 2 years of related experience

- The eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframe

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficient in working with Excel

Knowledge & Skills:

- Have strong working knowledge of both SAP and AES systems.

- Must have a thorough understanding of the overall AES system and how changes in the system will affect end users at every level.
