Role Overview 🚀

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join on a temporary 8 month contract for maternity cover. As a Business Analyst within the Transformation function, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-scale change across the organisation. We're looking for a proactive, high-performing Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.

A key part of the role will be leading discovery activities, working with stakeholders to uncover problems, understand business needs, identify opportunities, and shape the right solutions before delivery begins.

You'll analyse current-state processes, identify pain points and improvement opportunities, and help design future-state operating models, processes, and ways of working.

This role suits someone who loves getting into the detail, asks brilliant questions, turns ambiguity into clarity, and drives progress from idea through to implementation.

Responsibilities 🤘

Business Analysis & Solution Design

- Lead discovery activities and business analysis across transformation initiatives, owning requirements from problem definition through to delivery.
- Facilitate workshops to uncover root causes, challenge assumptions, and drive evidence-based decisions.
- Analyse and document current-state workflows, processes, and operating models.
- Identify opportunities, risks, gaps, and dependencies to support informed decision-making.
- Design future-state processes, operating models, and solution approaches that are practical, scalable, and sustainable.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery Enablement

- Work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and change teams to ensure solutions are clearly defined and adopted.
- Act as a trusted advisor, bringing structure, clarity, and constructive challenge.
- Support planning, prioritisation, and management of transformation initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of business analysis and transformation practices.
- Communicate insights, recommendations, and progress clearly to senior stakeholders.

What are we looking for? 🔎

- Experience leading discovery activities and requirements gathering on transformation or change initiatives.
- Exceptional questioning, listening, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ability to analyse and document current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience designing future-state processes and operating models.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments and navigating ambiguity.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to challenge thinking and influence decisions.
- Detail-orientated whilst maintaining focus on business outcomes.
- Proactive, self-sufficient, resilient, and delivery-focused.

Nice to haves

- Experience with process automation or optimisation.
- Business Analysis certification (e.g. BCS, IIBA) or working towards one.
