Senior Systems Engineer

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, reliability, and engineering of systems supporting N-DEx data integration . The position manages computer systems, servers, virtualization, software upgrades, automated integration tools, web services, SFTP connections, ETL products, and vendor integration solutions.

This is not a traditional infrastructure-only Systems Engineer position. The SOW requires a candidate with a substantial combination of systems engineering + software development + data integration + web services + cloud + SFTP/security expertise .

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of:

Computer systems

- Network servers

- Virtualized environments

- Install and upgrade computer components and software.

- Manage virtual servers.

- Develop and integrate automation processes.

- Diagnose hardware and software issues.

- Document problems and resolutions.

- Prioritize technical issues and assess operational impact.

- Develop, maintain, and use automated tools supporting data-integration services.

- Support and maintain web services and SFTP connections .

- Develop and use ETL products and automated data-integration tools.

- Recommend and implement data-integration standardization.

- Maintain and upgrade existing integrations.

- Develop new vendor integration solutions.
