Job Summary:
Technical specialist and regular customer support contact to diagnose and complete less complex repairs to Cummins products at a single customer’s site.
We are looking for a talented On-Site Resident Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Mesa, AZ).
This will be working at customer location.
Will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
DOT Preferred. Will be working at customer location.
- A current valid license is required for this role - Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience - This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations - This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing. Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Apprentice Certified Power Generation or Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification (optional)
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Basic level field service work experience
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products
High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional)
Customer service experience
