Patent Agent / Senior Patent Agent

The Position: Patent Agent / Senior Patent Agent 
Reporting to the Chief Operating & Business Officer, the Patent Agent / Senior Patent Agent will be a key leader in driving our intellectual property (IP) activities, including partnering with internal scientists and outside counsel to draft applications, prosecute patents, and set strategy. The ideal candidate for this role has a scientific background and relevant IP experience. Compensation 
The annual base pay range for this position is $128,500 - $153,000 and will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, skills and competencies. The pay range reflects the Manager and Sr. Manager levels. F Title and compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. This role is eligible for annual performance bonuses, equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off, and other employee programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities 
Lead the drafting of patent applications, independently analyzing research and collaborating with scientists to protect all aspects of Dualitas’ inventions.
