As a Detail Inspector I , you’ll support the StandardAero Miramar team by inspecting the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and serving as a strong advocate for quality, reliability, and attention to detail while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Our team provides airlines and MRO service providers with high-quality aircraft material and cost-effective solutions through exceptional customer service, industry experience, and rigorous quality control to support our customers’ operational and financial goals.

What you’ll do:

- Inspect incoming and outgoing parts to ensure they are up to quality standards and FAA regulations.
- Perform general warehouse duties.
- Perform self-audits on procedures to ensure conformity to the quality management system; ISO 9001:2015.
- Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.
- Receiving and inspecting engine teardowns.
- Shipping parts to customers and vendors.

Basic Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of aviation quality assurance experience, including quality inspection of aircraft parts, materials, or components.
- Experience working with quality management systems, procedures, and applicable quality standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to lift and/or move materials weighing up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Skills

- 2+ years of shipping/receiving in aviation.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
- Certification of quality control (e.g., ISO 9000).
- Prior experience with Quantum Control preferred.
