We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Specialist - Investments
An exciting opportunity to join one of Marsh’s largest and most rapidly-growing business areas – UK Investment Consulting. As part of our Investment Consulting Team, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing dynamic consulting support to our global client teams.
Consulting Support encompasses generating several regulatory and governance reports, cashflow advice and research work for new fund managers. Additionally, it involves drafting ESG compliant reports.
In this role, you will support the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into investment decision-making processes. This role involves conducting in-depth calculations of climate metrics, decarbonization paths and analysing the impact of climate changes in the portfolio of our clients, while contributing for the development and implementation of the Climate metrics and climate transition Global tool.
You will be an integral part of an exciting project, where we support global Sustainable Investment team at Marsh. As you develop your skills and knowledge, you will take on additional responsibility, and you will have the opportunity to enhance your expertise and learn from others as you build a platform for career growth.
We will count on you to:
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of investments on sustainability metrics, such as carbon emissions.
- Engage with external data providers, internal teams and senior consultants to generate accurate data analysis.
- Assist in client modelling and reporting regarding the transition to sustainable portfolio.
- Have a clear understanding of tool used and act as liaison between analysts’ team, developers and SI leads for tool improvements.

- What you need to have: Master’s degree in statistics, economics, finance, management or related field. CFA and MBA candidates will be preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in investment analysis, sustainability consulting, or related roles.
- Fluent in English
- Good analytical skills and ability to work through tasks in a logical manner;
- Proven experience and ability to perform data treatment via excel.
- Proven Project management, automation initiatives and communication skills.
- Experienced inworking as part of a team and build strong relationships with peers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Experienced in taking ownership of your work, ensuring standards and deadlines are met and keeping others informed and up to date.
- Able to work well under pressure, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

- Experience in Financial Markets and Sustainability.
