About the role

As our Facility Manager Specialist, you'll help ensure the LEGO® Group's manufacturing facilities remain safe, functional, and efficient. This is a two-year temporary role.

You'll provide operational support for planned and preventive maintenance, create job instructions, manage maintenance documentation, support troubleshooting activities, and coordinate professional training. This is a hands-on role where you'll work with HVAC systems, utility metering, and facility operations while helping the factory perform at its best.

Required Qualifications

- Completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Built at least 5 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance
- Managed HVAC, heating, cooling, water, or climate-related facility systems
- Delivered work involving utility meters, measurements, or metering systems
- Demonstrated professional communication skills in English
- Used Microsoft Office applications to support operational activities

Preferred Qualifications

- Applied AutoCAD in facility, maintenance, or engineering environments
- Developed experience as a facility maintenance engineer
- Coordinated technical training activities for operational teams
- Supported maintenance documentation or maintenance management systems

- Operate and maintain maintenance documentation systems
- Assist with maintenance-related troubleshooting and operational problem-solving
- Organize and deliver professional training activities
- Partner closely with colleagues working on continuous improvement initiatives
- Help establish and develop metering systems supporting factory HVAC operations
- Contribute to the performance of modern manufacturing facilities

Life on the team

Facilities Management & Planning focuses on keeping the LEGO® Group's buildings and spaces safe, functional, and efficient. You'll join our Nyíregyháza Greenfield team responsible for planning, maintaining, renovating, and supporting manufacturing facilities and equipment. Day to day, you'll collaborate with colleagues across operations and continuous improvement while also having the freedom to work independently. We're looking for someone who's curious, focused, confident when handling discussions and negotiations, and flexible when priorities shift.

What success looks like

Success in this role means becoming a trusted specialist who can manage facility maintenance activities independently and support complex HVAC and utility systems with minimal direction. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll play an important role in establishing factory metering systems and improving visibility into facility performance. You'll work closely with Engineering Managers and operational teams to help create reliable, efficient environments that support manufacturing every day.
