General Summary:
As a core member of the Qualcomm China engineering team, focusing on pioneering product domains such as Wearable, Robotics, Action Camera, and Drones, we are seeking experienced engineers to develop stable, high-performance, and differentiated Linux platforms based on Qualcomm's advanced chipsets, providing the critical core enabling technology for next-generation smart devices.
The work scope includes but not limit to:
- Responsible for embedded system bring-up and subsequent maintenance based on Qualcomm platforms
- Build and maintain Android / Yocto platforms to support productization
- Develop and maintain Linux BSP, including Bootloader, Kernel, Device Tree, drivers, and system applications
- Linux kernel Modules development and maintain like CPU/Memory/Clock/Storage/PCIe/Ethernet/peripheral drivers
- Collaborate closely with project management, testing, customer support, and overseas development teams to ensure high-quality and on-time project delivery
Minimum Qualifications
- With 3+ years of experience in Linux application or kernel development
- Strong proficiency with C/ C++/Python
- Comprehensive understanding of Linux memory, Scheduler, Lock, device driver
- Solid understanding of embedded Linux system build and boot process
- Familiar with common debugging tools and methods (e.g., GDB, Ftrace, JTAG)
- Understand ARM CPU instructions and architecture
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Qualcomm Android or embedded Linux platform development
- Familiar with Qualcomm's software and hardware architecture
- Contribution experience in open-source projects
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
