Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Job Description This role is designed for individuals eager to embark on a structured training program to master the company's products, services, customers, and sales processes. The position involves building and maintaining relationships with electrical contractors and other customers, supporting account management and customer service activities, and assisting with project support and coordination related to electrical supply projects. Responsibilities

- Learn the company's products, services, customers, and sales processes through a structured training program.
- Build and maintain relationships with electrical contractors and other customers.
- Support account management and customer service activities for existing customers.
- Assist with project support, quotations, and coordination efforts related to electrical supply projects.
- Develop technical knowledge of electrical products and industry applications.
- Partner with internal sales teams to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
- Learn territory management, business development, and outside sales responsibilities in preparation for managing a future book of business.
- Participate in customer visits, account development activities, and sales training opportunities.
- Work toward independently managing customer relationships, sales growth, and territory profitability.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong learning agility and ability to absorb technical information.
- Customer-facing experience through sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, skilled trades, or related environments.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and active listening skills.

Work Environment The work environment is structured around an 8am to 5pm schedule. Employees have access to a structured training program with a clear career path into outside sales. There is an opportunity to inherit existing accounts and eventually manage a territory, with uncapped earning potential through commission and profit sharing. A vehicle allowance is available once promoted into direct sales. The company culture promotes from within and emphasizes significant growth opportunities as the branch rebuilds and develops the next generation of sales talent.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Tacoma, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
