Data Science Intern

Corteva Agriscience is seeking students for full-time internships within our Research and Development organization. Interns will work closely with experienced scientists, engineers, data professionals, and technical experts in an industrial R&D setting, with opportunities to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and network across the company.

What You’ll Do:

Interns will participate in R&D Digital projects supporting data, automation, analytics, and digital tool development across Corteva’s Research and Development organization.

- Partner with R&D stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate use cases into digital solutions.

- Build, enhance, or automate data workflows, models, dashboards, applications, and/or internal tools that improve efficiency and decision-making.

- Apply data engineering, software engineering, analytics, automation, machine learning, and/or AI capabilities to solve R&D problems.

- Work in a safe manner and embody Corteva’s safety culture.

- Present project reviews throughout the summer and a final poster before colleagues and peers.

What Skills You Need:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, Information Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field

- Interest in data, automation, analytics, software development, digital tools, machine learning, and/or AI-enabled solutions

- Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and willingness to engage with stakeholders to understand business n
- Minimum 3.0 GPA

- Must be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship.

- Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the timeframe of May to August.

- Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, C#, R, data visualization, automation tools, software development, machine learning, or cloud-based data platforms a plus but not required   eeds
