Apple is looking for an experienced, self-motivated OLED Engineer to join our display development team in industry-leading future Apple products! This individual will serve and a key point to enable innovative concepts and architectures for better OLED display opto-electrical performance.
Assess advanced OLED materials, device performance, and process technologies to support emerging display applications.
Analyze trade-offs among OLED stack design, manufacturing processes, optoelectronic performance, and implementation feasibility.
Define and evaluate OLED device specifications for new Apple products.
Conduct structured methodologies to identify root causes of failure modes and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, display and material suppliers.
10-15% international travel expected to display or material vendors for result reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree 10 years exp in Material Science, (Applied) Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar with 10 years of industry experience.
Solid understanding of organic electronic material and device physics
Hands-on experience in OLED device stack design, fabrication process, technical investigation of OLED display technologies.
Solid data analysis and basic programming skills of Matlab, Python.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Material Science, (Applied) Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or Master's Degree with 7 years of industry experience
