As a Business Intelligence Engineer II, you'll play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that power data-driven decision-making across the organization. You'll work closely with data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to build and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards, and curate reliable, well-structured data in Snowflake.

You'll be expected to work independently on BI deliverables while also contributing to team best practices and supporting the growth of the business

About the role

- Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders across multiple domains
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL in Snowflake to source, transform, and curate data for reporting and analytical use cases
- Develop and maintain data models that support scalable, reusable BI solutions
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, ensuring reports reflect accurate and trustworthy data
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into well-designed BI solutions
- Participate in and contribute to code reviews with a focus on performance, readability, and maintainability
- Monitor existing dashboards and pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact stakeholders
- Document data definitions, report logic, and processes to support team knowledge sharing
- Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical debt within the BI environment
- Stay current on Tableau and Snowflake capabilities and advocate for adoption of best practices across the team

About you

Minimum Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
- Proven proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling
- Ability to work independently on deliverables while collaborating effectively across teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Experience with version control tools such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices
- Exposure to Python or another scripting language for data manipulation or automation
- Current business focused AI use.
