The Position

At Roche/Genentech Pharma Product Development Global Clinical Operations (PDG), we are determined to transform drug development and realize our Pharma Ambition to deliver 20 transformative medicines addressing diseases with the highest societal burden by 2029.

As a Global Clinical Operations Excellence Leader in PDG, you will be pivotal in driving portfolio-wide improvements and boosting clinical trial delivery productivity. This role involves fostering innovative trial execution, tackling critical needs, and collaborating with key stakeholders across PDQ, pRED, gRED, USM, and PDMA. You will lead and shape initiatives to implement new operational models with both internal and external partners, ultimately impacting clinical trial delivery.

The Opportunity:

- Lead the development and execution of program-level strategies in Clinical Finance ensuring alignment with patient and trial needs.
- Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise to embed learning, process, and system excellence across PDG while advancing initiatives that accelerate delivery of enterprise-wide priorities.
- Develop and implement strategies for Clinical Operations Excellence initiatives that support our business objectives.
- Oversee the execution and governance of initiatives within global PDG Clinical Operations and with external stakeholders relating to clinical trial Finance including Budgets, Contracts, FMV and Investigator/Site Payments.
- Leads the development and implementation of program-wide clinical finance strategies and standards in collaboration with program leadership. This involves overseeing process management, ensuring compliance, monitoring performance, and streamlining vendor decisions and oversight.
- Provide subject matter expertise on a range of strategic activities to support the execution of our clinical trial infrastructure across different regions.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement and change management activities to solve complex problems and embed change within the organization.
- Participate in or lead vendor identification and build strong relationships to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials and/or enabling projects

Who You Are:

- You bring a bachelors level education with at least 7+ years' of experience in the clinical space.
- Strong working knowledge of clinical trials and drug development, or related expertise.
- Proficient understanding and application of ICH, GCP, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to anticipate and influence the external environment to shape the clinical trial landscape for long-term success.
- Familiarity with other business functions and an understanding of how your decisions impact other parts of the organization.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
