· Identify and resolve intercompany mismatches, aging balances, and elimination issues before consolidated results are finalized.

· Improve policies, procedures, and governance over intercompany transactions to support sustainable close execution and control effectiveness.

SOX, Controls & Remediation

· Execute and evidence SOX controls related to consolidations, intercompany, eliminations, and system-generated reports.

· Support remediation of control deficiencies by improving process documentation, review precision, evidence quality, and ownership clarity.

· Partner with Internal Audit, the SOX second line of defense, and external auditors to respond to requests and resolve control or audit issues timely.

Process Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement

· Help redesign consolidation and intercompany processes to improve timeliness, accuracy, transparency, and repeatability.

· Leverage technology, automation, and standard reporting to reduce manual effort and improve visibility into close status and recurring issues.

· Communicate clearly with stakeholders on close timelines, open items, accounting conclusions, and remediation progress.

What you’ll Bring:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required

· 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting and/or public company industry experience strongly preferred

· Experience with consolidations, intercompany accounting, eliminations, and multi-entity close processes

· Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX controls, PCAOB audit expectations, and public-company close requirements

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills

Strongly Preferred

· Experience supporting material weakness remediation, control redesign, or close process transformation

· Comfort working in complex, fast-paced environments with evolving processes and high visibility

· Ability to partner effectively with business units, shared services, tax, treasury, financial reporting, internal audit, and external auditors

· Highly detail-oriented and comfortable working through complex consolidation and intercompany issues

· Disciplined about documentation, controls, account ownership, and timely issue resolution

· Effective at bringing structure and transparency to processes that are still being matured
