Scope of Position

As an Associate Controls Engineer , you will play a crucial role in Automated Logic’s (ALC) success by designing custom building automation systems tailored to our customers' unique needs. We are seeking a collaborative team player with exceptional problem-solving, time-management, and multitasking abilities. In this role, you will expand your technical capabilities while taking independent ownership of smaller-scale projects.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Design and program building automation systems, site-specific control configurations, and control algorithms.
- Adhere to project requirements, technical specifications, and company/customer standards.
- Create, document, and maintain clear technical design documents and revision logs for project teams.
- Develop graphical and text-based user interfaces for building automation systems.
- Perform pre-implementation testing on control programming and user interfaces.
- Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customer technical requirements are met.
- Identify and communicate project opportunities, risks, and functional testing needs.

Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of industry experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing or engineering, OR an Associate degree in an engineering or technical field

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or construction discipline.
- Prior hands-on experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), or commercial electrical/mechanical installation.
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, or mechanical HVAC concepts.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $53,000.00 - $106,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
