Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Job Description
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of sales shipments and orders, specifically within the Food/Meat sector. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with sales representatives, vendors, and government departments such as customs to ensure the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of products. Your work will involve tracking information through internal systems and Oracle, managing client and shipment details, and ensuring compliance with international regulations. You will also handle original documents for international tracking.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple steps of sales shipments and orders.
- Collaborate with sales reps, vendors, and government departments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Use internal systems and Oracle to track client and shipment information.
- Compile and manage original documents for international tracking.
- Ensure detailed and accurate information to meet international regulations.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in administrative support and data entry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with Oracle and SAP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with high accuracy.
- Background in logistics, customer service, inventory, and transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in importing and exporting products.
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field or a related degree.
- International shipping experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong clerical and filing skills.
Work Environment
This position is onsite in Downtown SLC, working Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. You will work closely with a team lead and 2-3 other team members. The company offers a competitive benefits package including a 401K with 4% match after 6 months, eligibility for annual COLA and/or merit bonus after 12 months, and 13 days of PTO increasing after the third year. The role includes working interviews to showcase your experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
