Outbound Sales Development Representative - POS

Job Description

We’re looking for a results-oriented and driven Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our Point of Sale (POS) team. This role will focus on supporting our existing Account Executives while providing opportunities for professional growth and advancement. It’s a great opportunity to step into a career in sales.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

- Focus on setting meetings for the outbound Point-of-Sale (POS) sales team with small and medium sized businesses that are not currently utilizing the Wix platform
- Manage outbound lead flows for the Wix POS team. Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities
- Collaborate with and learn from account executives, product development and marketing teams to develop and qualify new target accounts, build call strategies, and improve messaging
- Engage with prospects by phone, email, and social by following a consistent and repeatable top of funnel sales process
- Keep up with Wix POS product knowledge and industry changes to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects 
- Work to meet defined metric goals surrounding calls, emails and set meetings 
- Stay on top of retail trends, payment technologies, and competitor offerings
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly referral and sales targets

Qualifications

- Aspiring sales professional with at least 1 year of experience in a corporate setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A hunter's mentality and have a successful track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals and client-focused KPIs
- Understand the value of quality over quantity
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized 
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management and organization skills 
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, thrive in an ever-changing environment, and want to be a part of helping to write the playbook instead of sitting back and executing

Preferred Qualifications:

- A basic understanding of the POS industry 
- Experience using a CRM, specifically Salesforce
- An understanding of the Wix commerce platform

- Residency: Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Miami, FL area.
