Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Microsoft Copilot Developer to build, integrate, test and deploy enterprise AI agents and Microsoft Copilot solutions. The developer will work with the Copilot Architect, business stakeholders and client technology teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform and Azure AI services.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop custom agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Configure agent instructions, knowledge sources, topics, entities, actions and conversation flows.
• Build workflows and business-process automation using Power Automate.
• Integrate agents with SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 and external enterprise applications.
• Develop custom connectors, REST API integrations and Microsoft Graph integrations.
• Create and manage knowledge-based solutions using SharePoint, Dataverse, websites, documents and Azure AI Search.
• Implement prompt engineering, grounding, retrieval-augmented generation and response-quality improvements.
• Develop plugins, actions, APIs or Azure Functions required by Copilot solutions.
• Configure authentication, permissions and role-based access.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing and user-acceptance support.
• Evaluate agent responses for accuracy, relevance, safety and hallucination risk.
• Support deployment across development, test and production environments.
• Implement source control, solution packaging and CI/CD processes.
• Monitor agent performance, usage, errors and user feedback after deployment.
• Troubleshoot agent behavior, integration, authentication and data-access issues.
• Participate in meetings and demonstrations with US-based clients.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment instructions.

Required Skills
• 3–5 years of application development, Power Platform, automation or AI solution-development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Experience building agents, chatbots, workflows or conversational AI solutions.
• Experience integrating solutions with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph or custom connectors.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, Logic Apps or Azure AI Search.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation and generative AI concepts.
• Experience with authentication, Microsoft Entra ID and secure application integration.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for interaction with US-based clients.
• Ability to work independently during US business hours.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with Power Apps, Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Python or Power Fx.
• Knowledge of adaptive cards and Microsoft Teams application development.
• Experience with CI/CD and Power Platform application lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with agent evaluation, analytics and production monitoring.
• Microsoft Power Platform or Azure certification.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field.
