Director, Engineering, Cloud Learning Services

As the Director of Learning Technology your primary purpose is to
drive/deliver/execute the delivery of our new learning platform and lab experience for internal sales, technical training and externally (partner, customer and developer training), while maintaining our current platform. You will be recognized as an expert in engineering discipline and lead multiple teams spanning 40+ employees. You will direct reports and multiple engineering teams globally and contribute to the long-term direction and strategy sales enablement, certification, customer training, labs and support other stakeholders. In addition, you will manage senior managers, managers and technical program managers and be fully accountable for strategic direction, staff, cost, methods, performance, and our technical platform.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $307000 - $427000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

- 15 years of experience in engineering/product leadership in inception, design, implementation, and launch of B2C and B2B products.

- 15 years of experience managing an engineering team.

- Experience leading engineering of products in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or Business Management.

- Experience in EdTech engineering leadership, using products that are web-based, support multiple personas, use cloud infrastructure, handle abuse, and operate in an agile environment.

- Experience defining a broad, high-level vision while providing granular strategic and technical direction across Engineering, UX, and Product Management.

- Experience in user experience, experimentation, and a good understanding of data privacy and security concerns.

- Knowledge of high volume distributed application development, A2A and AI based architectural model, and cloud infrastructure, with a passion for the education industry.

- Lead engineering working with product for a next generation educational platform for teaching and learning.

- Develop our technical platform strategy and innovation agenda. Synthesize data and create new connections to empower us to make the right decisions for users.

- Develop new platform capabilities to deliver personalized learning experience based on users ability, role, company, industry, tech stack and more, creating an engaging consumer-product experience designed to solve the needs of true learning and fosters lifelong learning for individuals and enterprises.

- Be responsible for fostering a highly innovative and AI inspired responsible culture in software development and user-centered design to ensure our products are both powerful and intuitive.
