Our Walnut Creek, CA office has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Client Service Associate ! This role serves as a trusted partner to clients and advisors, acting as a key point of contact and providing advanced support in client service and operational activities. The Senior Client Service Associate helps ensure an exceptional client experience through proactive relationship management and expert coordination within the financial advisory team.

This role is an On-site position.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 , exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

Reception and Office Support

- Greet clients and ensure the office is clean and welcoming
- Schedule meetings with product vendors and sponsors
- Manage and distribute mail; coordinate overnight mail deliveries
- Order office marketing materials and printer supplies; coordinate printer maintenance with vendor and Technology team

New Client Onboarding

- Ensure accurate completion of prospect and new client paperwork and account set up
- Follow up on funds transfers from surrendering companies
- Maintain CRM-Salesforce database
- Research and follow up on issues with the Broker/Dealer, Wealth Enhancement Group Operations, and vendors
- Record incoming assets to the appropriate blotting tool

Client Relationship Management

- Engage with clients to understand their personal history and financial needs
- Prepare account transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, required minimum distributions (RMDs), and related activities
- Communicate to understand client requests and coordinate issue resolution, including death claim processing
- Liaise with client’s tax or legal counsel when needed

Client Review Preparation and Follow Up

- Gather client data and prepare materials for client meetings and reviews
- Conduct tax research and address questions related to 1099s
- Complete follow-up actions for clients as needed

Industry and Company Knowledge

- Demonstrate knowledge and accurately execute Wealth Enhancement Group’s Suitability Guidelines, operational processes, and sales model
- Understand financial terminology and products including annuities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed income, stocks, options, alternative investments, hedge funds, and charitable giving practices
- Attend client services and company educational events; participate in vendor presentations as appropriate

Team and Corporate Support

- Mentor and train Client Service Associates
- Assist Advisor Team Operations in streamlining processes
- Complete operational projects supporting enhancements and changes
- Communicate process and sales updates to team members
- Participate in Wealth Enhancement Group-offered sessions (e.g., Micro Monday, ATO Answers, Client Service Community, RoundTable LIVE)
- Manage vendors in accordance with Service Level Agreements
- All other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of financial services experience
- Minimum of 1 year as a Client Service Associate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with deadlines, adapt under pressure, and prioritize tasks
- Ability to train new employees as needed
- High attention to detail in recording transactions and maintaining data within Salesforce
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
- Demonstrated client relationship and trust-building skills
- Strong knowledge of Wealth Enhancement Group’s sales model
- Demonstrated industry, product, and company knowledge
- Collaborative spirit and commitment to WEG initiatives
- Embodiment of WEG values, core competencies, and brand
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
- Experience with Workday preferred
- AI literacy: Ability to use AI tools and technologies effectively, including crafting prompts, evaluating AI-generated content, integrating AI tools to enhance productivity, and a commitment to continued learning as technologies evolve

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state, pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as this level is $57,750- $126,000. However, the base salary range bolded above ($90,000 to $100,000) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
