Essential Duties

- Lead the Iowa architecture team with ownership for its continued growth, development, and success while contributing to the broader direction of ISG’s architecture practice.
- Grow and strengthen client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs, expanding existing partnerships, and identifying new opportunities.
- Lead project and design efforts from initial concept through completion, bringing strong architectural judgment and a client-focused approach to every project.
- Build and develop your team by attracting talent, mentoring emerging professionals, delegating meaningful responsibility, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
- Own project performance, including budgets, work plans, contracts, quality control, and delivery while maintaining strong design standards.
- Leverage ISG’s multidisciplinary expertise to pursue innovative opportunities, collaborate across geographies, and deliver impactful solutions for clients and communities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- 10+ years of professional design experience and licensed to practice architecture
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture program
- K-12, Sports + Recreation and Government + Cultural, experience, a plus
- Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal media
- Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums
- Familiarity in Revit, Adobe Suite and Sketchup computer software packages
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and participate with a variety of team members on different projects at varying levels of development
