We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
Dominion’s System Protection Engineering department is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support the Company’s evolving transmission and distribution grids. Engineering interns will work with experienced team members to assist on transmission, distribution, or distributed generation projects or complete individual work assignments related to relay protection, coordination, logic design, and operational performance.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Equally effective working independently or in a team environment
- Time management skills with the ability to independently plan and organize work assignments
- Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems
- Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices
- Programming skills for automation assignments preferred (e.g. VBA, Python, .NET, C#)
Education Requirements
Candidate must be a full-time student pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree majoring in Electrical Engineering from an ABET acredited program with a graduation date of 2028 or 2029.
Must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher; a 3.3 cumulative GPA is strongly preferred.

Hourly Rate:
$27.00 - $29.00
The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
