About this role
Performs radiologic exams and procedures. Provides patient privacy and confidentiality. Ensures patient care is performed in an efficient manner, meeting standards consistent with infection control policies and OLOLRMC Standards for Service Excellence. Responsible for the safe operation of radiologic equipment utilized in patient care and maintains current knowledge of the operation of any equipment used.
Education:
• Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training; Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved program.
Licensure/Certification:
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and current Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE) license. New graduates: Registry Eligible for ARRT and Current active or temporary LSRTBE license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
