Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a multi-year strategic account plan that aligns with the USDA’s mission outcomes and budget cycles.
- Drive aggressive revenue growth across Cisco’s portfolio, including Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Observability, and Hybrid Cloud.
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams, including Pre-sales Engineering, Customer Experience (CX), and channel partners, to deliver holistic, mission-ready solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and C-suite leadership across USDA bureaus.
- Manage complex procurement cycles, providing the executive presence required to defend our position against aggressive competition and maintain long-term incumbency.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 5+ years of successful Federal sales experience.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- Residency in or ability to travel frequently to the DC Metro area, Kansas City, or Fort Collins.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Mission-Oriented Growth Mindset: A drive to understand the specific "why" behind the USDA’s mission and how technology enables that success.
- Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to influence across matrixed organizations and drive alignment toward shared agency outcomes.
- Consultative Expertise: A focus on identifying and addressing complex technical debt and business challenges through a long-term relationship-based approach.
- Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in account mapping, forecasting, and data-driven pipeline management.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to articulate the value of secure, scalable infrastructure to both technical leads and non-technical executive stakeholders.
