Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, English Education, or a related field.
•Experience teaching English to multilingual learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
•Knowledge and experience teaching academic English.
•Ability to manage a classroom effectively and create an engaging learning environment.
ESL Instructors :

- Prepare and deliver engaging English language lessons using established curriculum materials along with instructor-developed supplemental materials.
- Teach assigned courses in reading/writing, listening/speaking/vocabulary, and grammar across the program's six proficiency levels.
- Assess student learning and provide appropriate feedback/academic support to students.
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive, engaging learning environment.
- Attend faculty meetings and collaborate with instructors within the program.
- Proctor final examinations.
- Hold one paid office hour per week.
- Reading/Writing instructors hold one additional paid tutoring hour per week.

Preparation, grading, and other instructional responsibilities are included within the scheduled teaching hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, or a related field.
- Experience teaching ESL/EFL in higher education or university-preparation programs.
- Experience teaching English abroad.
