Station/General Manager - LAX Car Rental Center

There's something special about walking into a location and knowing it's yours to build. As General Manager for Fox Rent A Car at LAX, you'll lead a team, drive real results, and shape the day-to-day of one of the busiest rental operations in the country, all while being part of something bigger.

Your Primary Focus Is To:

- Guarantee the facility adheres to all OSHA standards and provides expedient resolution to safety hazards; oversee injury documentation and current OSHA 300 logs
- Supports and motivates employees; ensures they have the resources and training to do their job
- Sets goals to achieve the company's financial and service targets for the location
- Fleet management
- Customer Service must be a top priority for all employees; monitor/respond to NPS and Google reviews
- Maximize revenue while minimizing and controlling costs
- Establishes objectives for staffing expenditures relative to rental activity and business requirements; aligns employee rosters with business demand to enhance customer service and operational efficiencies
- Monitors sales practices to avoid deceptive sales practices and reports findings to the Director of Operations
- Ensures the interior location is neat, clean, and organized in presentation, and personnel are appropriately dressed
- Monitors the customer service rendered by all rental agents to make sure the Six-Step Service-Based Sales process is followed and company standards of customer service are maintained
- Follows all established company policies and procedures
- Participates in all phases of employee leadership/management, including but not limited to mentoring, recruiting, discipline, training, performance reviews, and scheduling
- Monitors and reviews pricing and availability of fleet with Director of Operations and Rate Manager; stays in tune with local market conditions to maximize pricing
- Addresses and responds to customer complaints promptly
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in business or related field and/or the equivalent combination of education.
- Minimum of five years' experience as a manager or supervisor
- Previous experience as a manager or supervisor with a rental car company is highly preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an exempt position with an annual salary range of $150,000 to $160,000, based on experience and qualifications.
