We're looking for an experienced motivated Automotive Service Manager to oversee our service department and reconditioning operations. If you're a hands on leader who understands automotive repair and reconditioning, enjoys working and developing a team, takes great pride in getting vehicles retail-ready, we would like to hear from you!
What Will You Do:
- Manage daily service department operations
- Oversea vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and reconditioning
- Coordinate, Communicate with technicians, parts personnel, outside vendors, and our customers
- Prioritize repairs and ensure vehicles are completed on schedule
- Review repair estimates for internal vehicles and customer vehicles
- Maintain quality standards and ensure vehicles are properly repaired
- Help manage inventory of parts and supplies
- Schedule and supervise technicians and reconditioning personnel
- Administrative responsibilities with pricing, invoicing, all paperwork, computer systems and PA Inspection record keeping
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized shop environment
- Works closely with sales and management to keep inventory and customer cars moving
What We're Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and common repairs
- Automotive service, technician experience (A Plus) or repair management experience
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles, multitask, and priorities
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Team mindset and goal oriented
- Dealership or used car reconditioning experience is a plus
- Strong Performance
- English/Spanish
