About the role
Join our Customer Events & Sponsorship team on a parental leave full-time fixed-term contract through to the end of January 2028 and help bring Coles events, sponsorships and activations to life.
Working alongside experienced project managers, you’ll gain broad exposure across the business and work with external partners and suppliers to coordinate activity from planning through to execution.
This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role, with some interstate travel and occasional evening or weekend work. This is a 5-day per week role where you’ll work from the Melbourne head office Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
What you’ll do
No two weeks will look quite the same. You’ll help keep events and activations moving from planning through to execution. You’ll:
- coordinate supplier activity, bookings, approvals and in-store demonstrations
- support the planning and delivery of events and sponsorship activations
- work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners and suppliers
- prepare communications to support Hub and activation activity
- collaborate with suppliers on creative ideas and activation opportunities
- keep multiple projects organised and on track, including supporting event-day execution when required.
About you
You don’t need to be a sponsorship expert. We’re looking for someone who’s organised, confident, great with people and happy to roll up their sleeves and get into the detail.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience in events, experiential marketing, activations or an agency environment
- Administration & project coordination strength
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Confidence communicating and building relationships with a broad range of people
- Strong computer and systems capability
- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
