South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary technician to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ultrasound, dental x-ray, digital radiology, rooming patients, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understand the importance of client education, and is a positive and supportive team player. Orthopedic experience would be a bonus. The knowledge of basic technician skills is a must. Our hospital strives to find a balance of work and life for our employees. Requirements
- 1+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint (low stress)
- Team player willing to continue to learn
- Positive and motivating attitude
