Job Purpose:
The Junior Project Engineer will support the Project Management and Engineering teams in the planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and reporting of Oil & Gas projects. The role will provide exposure to engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls activities while ensuring compliance with project requirements, HSE standards, quality procedures, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Project Manager and Project Engineers in day-to-day project coordination and execution activities.
- Assist in coordinating activities between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, project controls, HSE, QA/QC, and other project disciplines.
- Monitor project activities, deliverables, schedules, action items, and interfaces and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in reviewing engineering documents, drawings, technical submissions, specifications, and project procedures.
- Participate in project progress, technical, coordination, and interface meetings and maintain action trackers.
- Support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports and presentations.
- Assist in monitoring engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning progress against the approved project schedule.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal departments to obtain required project information and resolve routine issues.
- Support management of technical queries, RFIs, document reviews, correspondence, and project documentation.
- Assist in identifying project risks, constraints, delays, and interface issues and escalate them to the responsible Project Engineer.
- Support site activities, inspections, construction coordination, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities as required.
- Ensure activities are performed in accordance with approved project procedures, HSE requirements, quality standards, and applicable ADNOC/client requirements.
- Maintain proper records, trackers, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in technical and professional development programs as part of the UAE National development initiative.

Qualification & Experience:

- A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of three (3+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including minimum two (2) years in GCC region.
