About the role
You'll be the financial backbone connecting the numbers to the business. Reporting to the CFO you'll leading month-end close, driving budgeting and forecasting, and making sure every part of the organisation understands its financial performance.
What you'll do:
- Support the month-end financial close process alongside the wider finance team
- Lead monthly financial reporting to the business, and reporting to the Board and ELT
- Own the internal budgeting and forecasting process and its supporting deliverables
- Review financial results for commercial accuracy and lead internal program reporting
- Partner with departments across the business to improve operational efficiency
- Support external reporting, including results presentations and investor materials
- Recommend and implement process and AI-driven improvements to data flow and integrity
- Provide financial support for commercial deals, tenders and growth initiatives led by the CFO
A note on the role: given our global operations, some early mornings or evenings may be needed to support the business.
Requirements
About You
You're a qualified accountant who's comfortable moving between detailed analysis and business partnering, and who wants a role with real visibility across the organisation.
You'll bring:
- Qualified accountant with up to 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Audit background and a strong grasp of accounting concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication with confident stakeholder engagement
- An analytical, critical-thinking approach to problem solving
- High attention to detail and the ability to translate data into insight
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with NetSuite and NSPB
- A track record of driving process improvement or automation initiatives
