Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

Manager, Regional Space Planning

As a Manager, Space Planning, you will optimise the use of available space through comprehensive analysis and strategic recommendations, including evaluating current space usage and enhancing space allocation and productivity. You will develop and maintain floor plans and planograms across all categories to maximise productivity and set clear principles on in-store zoning and planogram guidelines. Additionally, you will lead quarterly range reviews and SKU optimisation sessions, collaborate with the Market Merchandising team for in-store execution, and provide floor planning guidance for new and renovated stores.

- Conduct comprehensive space efficiency and utilisation analysis to optimise the use of available space including evaluating current space usage, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies to enhance space allocation and productivity.

- Develop and maintain floor plan and planogram across all categories to maximise and increase productivity according to set targets

- Set clear principles on in-store zoning and planogram guidelines

- Lead quarterly brand/ range review, SKUs optimisation and rationalisation sessions with SEA and Market Category team, using aligned productivity benchmarks set

- Support bi-yearly review of brands with productivity analysis for retrofit planning

- Full management responsibility including the management of a team of 2, planning for the team's future needs and operations

- Ensure the team's performance, development, succession and career advancement plans are in place through regular talent reviews and collaboration

- Collaborate with the Market Merchandising and Regional VM team for in-store execution of floorplans and planograms, ensuring consistency of brand line up and space allocation

- Provide floor planning guidance for new and renovation stores

We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

- About 8 years of experience in space planning preferably in the retail or beauty industry

- Proven track record in developing and maintaining floor plans and planograms to maximize productivity

- Ability to perform space efficiency and utilization analysis to enhance store performance

- Experience in leading range reviews, SKU optimization, and rationalization sessions

- Experience developing and improving framework and ways of working to support an evolving business context

- Experience leading a team and operating in a matrix environment

- Strong numerical aptitude to process and analyze complex data

- Ability to translate data insights and category strategy into space planning strategy

- Familiarity with design software for creating and managing floor plans would be beneficial

- Leadership skills to ensure effective collaboration and high performance

- Strong communication skills with ability to present effectively to senior stakeholders

- Stakeholder management and influencing skills in a diverse environment
