Supply Chain Planner

Job Summary:
To plan and maintain daily Supply Chain operations in one or more functional areas such as materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management or order fulfillment. Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop planning system strategies to improve signals across the supply chain Monitor and adjust parameters in the planning system. Use common processes tools, and information systems. Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans. Execute the daily operational planning process within a specified functional area. Identify potential supply chain failures as part of the planning process and mitigate associated risks Work closely with stakeholders - internal and/or external to develop short term tactical improvements. Use the planning system to drive consistent planning signals across the supply chain Participate in functional process improvement teams

Additional Responsibilities

- Plan and manage end-to-end material flow across global supply networks, including suppliers, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and regional operations.
- Monitor and optimize planning parameters within ERP and planning systems to improve planning accuracy and ensure consistent supply chain signals.
- Analyze supply chain performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance gaps, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Identify and proactively mitigate supply risks related to supplier capacity, material shortages, logistics constraints, long lead times, geopolitical disruptions, and transportation delays.

Experience

- Typically required experience of 7 to 9 years in supply chain planning, materials planning, production planning or related supply chain functions.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP planning systems and supply chain planning tools is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with international suppliers and cross-functional global teams is mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Advance Excel, SQL, Power BI and good root cause analysis skills

Work Schedule & Benefits

- Shift: Night Shift (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST)
- Night Shift Allowance: Applicable as per company policy.
- Transportation: Pickup and drop facility available within PMC and PCMC limits.
- Candidates should be willing to work the designated night shift schedule.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related discipline.
- Equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered where applicable
