We have an exciting opportunity as:

Assistant Manager Accounting (All genders welcome) in the Finance department at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Job Mission:

Processing all tasks in the area of accounts payable and receivable as well as support in the field of general accounting. Essentially handling day-to-day business such as creating outgoing invoices, checking and approving incoming invoices and Concur reports (Employee Travel- and Business expense reports) as well as statistics and declarations.

Your Responsibilities:

- Processing and checking incoming invoices in compliance with legal and internal regulations
- Preparation and issuance of outgoing invoices
- Checking, processing and approving travel expenses and other business expenses submitted by Kia EU employees (via Concur) in accordance with current legal, tax and internal policies
- Daily posting of bank statements (including cash pool) in aligment with Treasury
- Support with the preparation of monthly VAT returns, ZM
- Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of various statistical reports
- Open items and account reconciliation and clarification for customer and vendor
- AR management and reminder of outstanding receiveables
- Preparation of the weekly payment list, reconciliation with Treasury team
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance
- Assistance with internal and external audits

Your talents:

Education:

- Degree in finance or business or completed professional training

Experience:

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience of working in an accounting department preferably in an international environment

Skills:

- Good knowledge of SAP-FI
- A special affinity for facts and figures
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong Excel skills
- Very precise, structured and reliable way of working
- Team spirit characterizes you and is important to you
